I build a skin for use with the BOINC Simple Manager. You can download it here. Extract it to [boinc_dir]\Skins

Cool.

Perhaps only: to change default skip, go to Preference under Simple GUI.

Should it be 'bam' or 'BAM' ?

Do I have to create a folder for skins?

I'm not seeing it on my install of the most recent alpha version.

Maybe you need to. Create a folder called 'skins' in BOINC installation directory and extract the zip. It should end up as BOINC\Skins\bam\.

Thanks Nicolas.

I'll try that.

Yup.

That works!

You need to create the "skins" folder in the BOINC folder and extract to there.

Looks good team!

Willy,

The background for the Messages and Preferences does not work. I think it is a bug in the BOINC client. Add this section to your skin.xml.

- <dialog_background_image>
- <image>
<imagesrc>graphic/dlgPreferences.png</imagesrc>
</image>
</dialog_background_image>

Cool Skin,

Shane

This started with version 5.7.4. Older versions do display the skin on those pages.

After a review of the Skin spec we decided to make some
changes in the skin. All of these changes will appear in the v6 client

ported them to the 5.10 client?
