Why did my detailed stats page show Statistics export consent and most active projects / today's birthday?

I have consented all the config to export my credit to BAM and I just want to see my detailed stats page.

Would it be possible to list YYYY-MM-DD when the setting(s) was enabled for the individual projects?

Now I'm confused.

I am a returning user from a few years ago.
At the moment I am crunching Climate Prediction and World Community Grid.

I had a quick read of this thread but can't find where I need to change my settings: I even followed the link given earlier for WCG and... nothing.

Have they changed things?
Thank you!

Also my results are spread around a few accounts all with my username. I think my username, password and email are now all unified. Is there any hope that they will merge? Not a problem if not.

[EDIT] FOUND IT!!! WORLD COMMUNITY GRID WCG DATA SHARING IS NOW HERE: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewDataSharing.action
Sorry for the post, leaving it here in case it helps someone.

... i come back and i missed my stats from the other projects ?

I found the settings, on/in the project - sites and activate the export function, for stats, for those projects:

Einstein@Home *
LHC@Home *

I hope i can see my results, in future, on BoincStats.

Thanks for listening

OK, just to clarify: you do not have to post here when you changed these settings at a project. Your stats will then be exported by the project and imported by BOINCstats automatically. No manual action here is required so nobody needs to know you changed the settings.

I find this whole discussion frustrating.

Some of the projects I run have an option to export while others don't. At least I can't find them.

So I guess I have a choice:

I can to export some but not all stats and lose the stats that I can't find an option for.

Or I can delete any attempt to have any exported and not have a problem.

No good choices.

What does the statement mean when it is said "already enforced"?

"Already Enforced" simply means that the consent setting is in effect on a given project.
You can see which on the front page of Boincstats.com

Not all projects enforce these settings (yet). I think that when they do, they will be added to the list on the front page, for an overview. But who knows if they all will enforce it at some point.

So it's a matter of keeping an eye on the list, and go to each project to check the consent settings when they start enforcing them.

These dozens of "I add this setting for those projects" and "thanks for listening" posts are written by an obvious troll, all clones of the same user; they should be deleted by moderators and their author accounts banned from posting further.

I don't have much time for this but run Boinc on my two machines, one 24x7. I didn't check for over a year, but now see that half of my 80 or 90 million points are gone, allegedly because of GDPR compliance. I can't remember I ever saw an email about this - it should have been a VERY CLEAR WARNING, I'd think.

Is there still a point in going through the different sites, or are my points lost for good? Electricity is not cheap here, so if that is the case, I will not further to spend a few hundred Euro/year for nothing.

Besides, I deal with GDPR on a regular basis: if data has to be deleted because I didn't give positive consent, why would the points be deleted - these really are not personally identifiable data, and not my account, email, etc, that really are in the first place? All my accounts are still there...
Something looks wrong here...

Puzzling.

No, they are just not exported by the project. Grant them permission to export your points and they will be shown on BOINCstats again.

An exception is WCG which requires you to log in every couple of months, otherwise the account is deleted.

Thank you, but still not sure what to do:
I went to about 5 or 6 sites (Asteroids, MilkyWay, Universe, Cosmology, Climate Prediction, LHC) were I performed work: the settings are everywhere about the same, and nowhere did I see anything about authorizing the use of my data, or allowing anything related - even remotely - to GDPR. WCG is a bit different, but there also, there is a page called Data Sharing: possibly it has something to do with it, but it was set to Display my Data/Link my devices.

Note 1: the WCG account is clearly not deleted: I could log in and I'm not sure if I ever did - more than 18 months ago anyway.
Note 2: Only Einstein has such a setting that clearly allows to export data. But then again, why do they do this: to be GDPR compliant, they should not keep my personal data (email, login... ) and they do, while the stats are not personal data in any way...

@Cesinge
"I deal with GDPR on a regular basis"
This is hard to believe as you are unclear where responsibility lies. The place where your data is created has this responsibility. Projects implementing GDPR will not export your data unless You give them permission to do so. Boincstats (and the rest of the world) has no such responsibility for publicly exported data.

Projects were taken by surprise that GDPR applied to voluntary registers as well as commercial ones, and implementation is not part of the standard boinc-model. So you have to look hard in projects' home pages. If you follow "the yellow brick track" at the top of boincstats, you will find concrete references to some of those implementations.

Good luck

Same here, I come back now and then when there are new subprojects.
I guess what Willy refers to is when an account has no credits at all, then it will be deleted after a while.
There would be a horde of people's credit loss when they really would delete every account which doesn't login regulary.

Dear BOINCstats Willy,

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements mandated by the European Union require us to delete your account and your personal data from all inactive World Community Grid accounts. You can prevent this by logging in to your account at https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewMyMemberPage.do, or by returning at least one research result in the next 30 days.

In compliance with GDPR requirements, all data deletion is final and cannot be reversed.

Ah I see, you meant THAT email.
Well, don't want to nitpick, but as far as I read that, it does not say that you have to login regularly, only within the next 30 days from the date where you got the email.
Not sure anymore as to when I got it exactly but it were a few months ago so far. I guess I did login after that, checked and weren't there since then, but my account still exists of course.
And my second account - which I someday created for whatever reasons I forgot actually - is also still there, and I can't remember to have logged in there for years, NOT even after getting the email. Probably over at WCG they're not following the rules that strictly...
