Hey all, wasn't sure if I should post here or in the Boicstats forum, but... POGS was shut down a few months ago, and I hadn't noticed (basically just set BOINC to run on my computer and forget about it). With that, how do I go about removing it from the client on my computer. I figured go on BAM! and just uncheck it and detach except...no option to do so since it's retired. I have the option checked to show retired projects and it's still not showing up. I tried to "Remove" it from the client itself, but guessing I can't since it's running via BAM!. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

BAM! is sending a "delayed detach" to all hosts reporting to have POGS. It should therefor detach when all work is done. If not, you can check the XML files if BAM! is really sending the command.

Not sure if this is the right file, but this is what acct_mgr_url.xml is saying for pogs:

<project>
<url>http://pogs.theskynet.org/pogs/</url>
<project_name>pogs</project_name>
<suspended_via_gui>0</suspended_via_gui>
<hostid><REDACTED></hostid>
<not_started_dur>0.000000</not_started_dur>
<in_progress_dur>0.000000</in_progress_dur>
<attached_via_acct_mgr>1</attached_via_acct_mgr>
<dont_request_more_work>0</dont_request_more_work>
<detach_when_done>0</detach_when_done>
<ended>0</ended>
<resource_share>100.000000</resource_share>
<disk_usage>0.000000</disk_usage>
<disk_share>3937053354.666667</disk_share>
<account_key><REDACTED></account_key>
</project>

Based on this, should detach_when_done be set to 1 from BAM!?

You should check the account manager reply XML file.

I see nothing saying to disconnect or anything in it (acct_mgr_reply.xml):
