This is possibly a silly newbie question, one I've wondered about for a week or so.

It concerns projects "not yet supported" by BOINCstats. I assume that these unsupported projects are in some very early stage of development, but I also assume that sooner or later all of them get supported.

I have in mind the newly-launched Biochemical Library, and wonder how long it typically takes before a project is fully supported. I joined this project via BOINCstats normal sign-up, so I'm puzzled as to why the stats engine doesn't yet pick up the results!

For all I know this answer is buried somewhere deep in the forums or FAQs, and I admit that I'm sufficiently lazy as to have given up after only a cursory search.

So to clarify:

Are all projects eventually supported by BOINCstats?
If so, at what point do they become integrated into the stats?

Apologies for newbieness.

There are a couple of requirements before a project is added to BOINCstats/BAM!.

- For stats we need XML exports. New projects usually do not export them
- For BAM! the needed RPC's have to be in place. Using recent webcode usually provides that
- Project needs a name and a decent website with project explanation
- To be included in the stats the project needs to be running a real application, e.g. no uppercase
- And most importantly: the project admin has to give permission to BOINCstats to make the project publicly visible. Some admins like to wait a bit before the hordes come over to create an account.
Please do not PM, IM or email me for support (they will go unread/ignored). Use the forum for support.

Thanks, that's clear!
