I also show a bunch of negative credit for Dec. 1st.

If I look at the combined stats for that day it shows over 12,000 credits which puts it into my top 5 days but if I look at individual hosts I see over 150,000 negative credits.

Did another project reset it's credits or is this a BOINCstats DB problem?

for our hosts also a lot of negative credits too... (several thousands)
must we do something to fix or will be fixed automaticly?

looks like the computer-ID's on your projects got out of sync, try to update all projects listed in your BoincManager on all computers
(you don't have to resume the projects, just select them and click on the update-button).
this should get them back into sync in a few days.

I've just noticed that my one, and only, host lost over 200,000 credits around the same time. Seems to be Cosmology that has disappeared from the list on my host stats.

I've just hit update to see if this will fix it. All seems ok @ Cosmo and on my detailed 'User Stats'.

Anybody know if this cured the problem, or does it still exist?

Mark

[Edit] Ok, just checked cosmo message boards and it appears that they had some kind of 'outage' around that time. That's probably when the hosts got lost. Hopefully the next daily update will fix it for me [/Edit]

Daily updates didn't fix the problem. On this host Cosmology disappeared. Also on some retired hosts. Other active hosts are ok.

It seems to be a problem at Cosmo. Their hosts.gz file seems to be truncated.

Take a look at this thread on the Cosmo message boards:

Anshul Kanakia writes:

Dear all,
I sincerely apologize for this problem. Both Scott and I have been extremely busy with finals this week and I will still be busy with them next week. Scott has agreed to help clear up this problem on Friday (Dec 12) so you should some improvement after that. Once again, I am sorry we could not get to this earlier. Thank you for your patience.

Hopefuly we should see some improvement after today's or, maybe, tomorrow's update.

I am having this problem, too. Suddenly, all but 2 of my projects aren't showing up at all on BOINCStats... however, I'm not running Cosmology.

There is no bug inside Boincstats!!!

The bug are the Cosmology-Admins and there philosophy to set up a new validator and not to eliminate a bug in generating+exporting the xml-stats...

[edit]
Check all your host-stats and you will find wether credits nor an entry for cosmology.

I just noticed this after I set my boat anchor to run some cosmos (after malaria ran dry) - and all my cosmo cred on that host vanished on dec 1st last. It all looks ok on the combined account just nothing on the host stats (my boat anchor host id is #3102731).

has anyone seen more news on the matter? there is little further comment on cosmo forum thread #616 either....

looking again at that host#3102731 - the LHC wu I ran the other day also isn't appearing properly on the table at the foot of page although at least the pie charts have it...
