There are numerous reasons to this, from the absurdity of the points bitcoin utopia returns, to the argument that it shouldn't be part of BOINC to begin with as it is fundraising and not directly going towards an actual project like math or any form of science..

I'm not saying remove it, I'm just saying to have the option to eliminate from your own lists. Free-DC already saw the need for this and did very basic no bitcoin lists. I think it could be done better than just adding two lists, but this site needs to catch up.

I would really like to see an option to exclude Bitcoin from the stats. It now has 3 trillion credits compared to 2.4 trillion for all other projects combined! To top it off, less than 1,500 users are even signed up for Bitcom. That's just a stupid and meaningless number of credits too far out of the norm to be included.

I have the code completed but because the changes are significant and my time is limited I have chosen to activate the new code during the long Christmas weekend.

Well, as far as I see everyone who has an account here should see a menu named "BOINCstats" on the left side. If you click on that you see all projects and an option field to select/deselect to show in menu. Wen you deselect Bitcoin Utopia it will be removed from every stats site you look upon where it was included. I guess this is how it works.
But I'm not sure now if this works also for non-BAM-users...

In the database the stats are separated. However, I got the flue during the holidays and I didn't feel much like coding.

I think what you are referring to is a way of showing projects in the menu along the left hand side under "Status Schedulers" -- it's not a way to pick and choose what stats are shown. And, yes, that's been a feature here for as long as I can remember...

Yeah, that's what I meant - but it also removes projects under active or retired projects. I thought by clicking it away the credits would be also recalculated on the stats sites but it obviously doesn't.

There may be some issues with the numbers at this time, especially the history, but that should sort itself out. It may need some tinkering though.

I don't know if this is for everyone because users can have different browsers, display sizes, layouts etc. but since I have the statistics listed at the left side the "ASIC" is cut off by the forum frames so that it only reads "BOINC Combined without".
It may be obvious for the most people which follow the forum but if this is affecting users which don't know about and will wonder what it is the title maybe should be a bit shortened to read it fully - or in opposite making the frame size of the whole menu a bit wider.

If you search for a user and click on their details for "BOINC combined without ASIC" the default view is the Project List, but there is no tab to click back to there like there is in the regular "BOINC combined". Also, searching for a team seems to be broken... If I search for my team or any other, I get two entires under "BOINC combined without ASIC" but when I click on the details icon on either entry, I'm brought to the BOINCstats homepage.

Something I noticed: Clicking on a user's "BOINC Cross Project IDentifier" while within a user's project returns you to the same project page and not to the user overview as it was before.

Why is Donate still there? It was also only BTC.

Well, Donate is retired anyway. Besides, as far as I remember it wasn't only for BTC purposes - and they didn't use any ASIC so far, only a GPU app.

I don't know exactly anymore, it's too long ago. At least I remember it should function as a side- and testproject for GPUGrid also.
However, I did not crunch and check their forums much so I apologize if I'm wrong at this.

The two bugs I pointed out earlier are fixed, but I don't see any difference between the two sets of stats. I don't have/haven't used any ASIC devices, but there is still a huge number of points for Bitcoin Utopia on my team, which I doubt were racked up with CPU/GPU alone... What are the criteria separating the two?
