Even though their exported xml wasn't updated in years, the project still provides new WUs and is alive, see http://qmcathome.org/server_status.php.
I'm not advocating for either action, I just found it strange that the project disappeared from one my boincstats BAM-managed hosts. Good to know that it wasn't some glitch.

Interesting. That is the one project I hadn't deep-dived given how old their data export was... Could you contact them and ask why their XML is not updated? Basically, they are invisible to BOINCstats & BAM! and anyone else. They should fix that, and then Willy could un-retire them.

I sent an email to Martin Korth, as referenced from the contact page.

AFAIK, the stats exports have been missing since the project moved to new URL - see this thread.

Interesting. Somebody must have recently brought it back. Caveats, right off the bat: No forums, you can't create a Team, and CAPTCHA in user creation is broken (although you can AddProject and create a new acct through BOINC Manager).

And no stats are being dropped on http://qmcathome.org/stats

All that said, I attached one host, got two tasks, churning.

But it doesn't seem like ready for primetime. Without a forum, not even clear how to contact the new(?) admin.

And consider: tasks take about 3 days, no checkpoints after 20 hours.

Yeah. I observed that, too. Yesterday a host of mine ran them for something like 15 hours, then rebooted at 7am, and by 10am, only 3hrs elapsed time. What? Not good. This new QMC needs to mature up quite a bit before I run it.

Hi Willy

QMC is alive

Subproject: cleanmobility.now

WU runtime between 3 and 13 days on a Intel Core i7-4770K, Linux Ubuntu
I got credits for every finished WU. Even when the result was not valid. So they pay runtime credits not only success credits.

QMC Results

I do not know if they export the stats but WUProp counts the hours.

Their website is a construction site. Partially unusable. But the login and config page are working.

I highly doubt Willy will re-ad QMC reasons being:

1) NO EXPORT STATS and have not for a long time.
2) NO FORUM/MESSAGE BOARD.

I know it's been almost 9 months since you did these WUs, but do you remember much about the behavior of them?

I've got 12 currently running. They started out at processing at a rate of a little over 1% per hour, but as the hours turned into days the rate dropped to 0.7% per hour and then under 0.5% per hour and they weren't checkpointing at all.

Then sometime around the 84th hour, some of the WUs started to reset to 1.000%. Two reset from 60-something% or 70-something% to 1.000% last night. Another 3 reset to 1.000% overnight and 4 more reset over the course of the day today. But they're stuck there. They aren't incrementing at all at this point. They did checkpoint when they went back to 1.000% but haven't since and some have been stuck on 1.000% for 18 hours now.

I'm hesitant to abort them because I've had them running for 100+ hours now and for all I know they could start jumping from 1.000% to 100% in the blink of an eye. Or it could be that it takes them 18 hours to 'jump' from 1.000% to 1.001%. The ones that have reset to 1.000% are all showing 400+ days remaining, while the 3 still in the 75-75% range say 1d 8h.

Any insight or tips appreciated!

I run some tasks with same results as yours.
I also emailed admin of the project but never got reply. If the project tests new WUs why not to announce it officially on the project website?

So for now this project remains as retired for me.
